OVERVIEW:

This full-day trip is a perfect choice for those who want a deeper insight into the 20th-century history of Vietnam. It’s a combined tour, half-day city and half-day Cu Chi tunnels, which has been suggested by many tourists. You not only gain more information about the Vietnam War, but you can also witness what was once one of the biggest battlefields in the world, to understand more about a small country whose endurance through many wars during its 4000-year history has given us a peaceful day like today.

08h30 AM: The coach/car will pick you up at your hotel and start the visit. Please be ready by 8h30.

9h15 – 10h00 AM: The Coach/ car will take you to The Reunification Palace – a historic landmark that played a significant role in the country’s history. You can explore its many rooms and halls, including the president’s office, meeting rooms, and underground command center. The palace is filled with artifacts and memorabilia from the war era, providing an immersive glimpse into Vietnam’s past.

10h00 – 11h00 AM: The War Remnants Museum is a powerful and sobering museum dedicated to the Vietnam War. It features exhibits that depict the harsh realities of the war, including the effects of Agent Orange, war crimes, and the struggle for independence by the Vietnamese people.

11h00 – 12h00 AM: The Central Post Office is not only a functional building, but also a historical landmark that reflects the rich past of the city. Built in the late 19th century, it stands as a stunning example of French colonial architecture with a grand interior boasting high ceilings, marble floors, and intricate details.

12h00 – 13h00 AM: The Jade Emperor Pagoda is a must-visit attraction for its stunning and intricate architecture, featuring elaborate carvings, statues, and altars. As you explore the pagoda, you’ll be amazed by the intricate details and the skillful craftsmanship that went into its construction. It’s truly a sight to behold and a testament to the rich cultural heritage of Vietnam.

12h00 – 13h00: After a few hours discovering the city, you will enjoy your light lunch at a local noodle shop.

13h30 – 15h30: It takes us 1 hour to reach Ben Dinh – a system network belongs to Cu Chi tunnels.

When you go through entrance, you will watch a brief of propaganda video, which introduce Vietnam war and the way the tunnels were utilized to struggle against G.I in Vietnam war.

We will visit surroundings and follow our tour guide to discover Ben Dinh tunnels. Tour guide will explain for you the life of people who lived under the ground and how they survived and contacted with each other.

Then, you will experience realistically by crawling through the tunnels and eating boiled tapioca which was the main food people had to digest day by day. Take some rest and have interesting conversations about the war in the past.

Take a moment to immerse yourself in history by visiting the shooting range, where you can try firing AK47s and M16s. Please note that the cost of bullets is not included in the tour.

17h00 PM: After immersing ourselves in the rich history of Cu Chi Tunnels, we leave the site behind and journey back to Ho Chi Minh City.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Tour Cancellation: (Not including holidays and Sundays)

– If you change the tour to another date and notify the departure date 7 days in advance, you will not be charged a fee. If it is later, the penalty will be based on the cancellation regulations below and you can only change the tour departure date one (1) time.

– After registering for the tour, you deposit 50%. Please pay the remainder 7 days before departure. If you register for a tour within 7 days of departure date, please pay the entire tour fee.

Immediately after registration: Cancellation fee is 50% of tour price
7 days before departure date: Cancellation fee 75% of tour price
After the above period: Cancellation fee is 100% of tour price

“Holiday/Tet period: no refund, no reservation”.

NOTE:

In case the group does not have enough passengers to depart, Vietourist has the right to change or postpone the tour to the nearest departure date. If the customer cannot arrange work to participate in the next tour, we will refund the tour deposit/tour fee after deducting additional costs, if any.

– Programs and attractions can flexibly change the order of attractions to suit actual conditions.

Vietourist will not be responsible for securing attractions in the following cases:

+ Natural disasters occur: storms, floods, droughts, earthquakes…

+ Security incidents: terrorism, protests…

+ Traffic incidents: traffic jams,…

– If the above cases occur, Vietourist will consider refunding non-sightseeing expenses to guests as possible (after deducting the services performed and is not responsible for any additional compensation). any other costs).

If you arrive late when the bus has departed or cancel the tour without prior notice, you will be charged the same fee as canceling your ticket on the day of departure.

– Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by parents or relatives over 18 years old when going on tour. In case of traveling alone, parents must authorize Vietourist (with confirmation from local authorities).

– For safety reasons, we limit and do not accept guests aged 80 and over. Guests over 75 years old do not have insurance.

– If you are pregnant, please notify the tour sales staff at the time of registration. Note that you must consult your doctor before going on a tour. Commit to taking responsibility for your health and that of your fetus throughout the duration of the travel program.

– If you need to issue an invoice, please provide invoice information to the tour sales staff immediately upon registration, do not accept invoices after the tour has ended.

– Please carefully review the Conditions before registering for the trip. In case you do not register directly, ask a relative to register for you, please update the information from the registrant.
