Morning we will take one hour drive to Tay Phuong, one of ten most beautiful pagodas in Vietnam. Located on the top of the hill, this pagoda is very famous about the collection of Buddha and Arhat statues from 17th century and great architecture. Then take 45 minutes bike ride the rural area around Pagoda through green rice field, local villages. It will be the great chances for you to discover the daily life activities in the Red River Delta, interact to local people and feel the real atmosphere of rural area. After that, back to the car for driving to the ancient village of Duong Lam, the place so called “Hoi An of the Red River Delta” as still preserve many hundred-year-old houses. It will be your unique experience as you walk along tiny ancient alleys, visit Communal House in Mong Phu hamlet – the only hamlet whose original village entrance gate remains intact, dedicated to national heroes. Enjoy the great home hosted lunch in traditional atmosphere in the oldest house in the village of Mr.Hung date back to 1649 then driving up to Nghia Lo. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of mountain area along the way. We can stop to visit the village of Thai and Mong people along the way before arriving to Nghia Lo. Overnight in Nghia Lo.
Today we take a long but very scenic drive from Nghia Lo to Muong Khuong. Enjoy the great scenery of terrace rice field at Mu Cang Chai, spectacular view of Hoang Lien Son Mountain range at Than Uyen, driving in hidden road from Than Uyen to Van Ban. Arrive to Muong Khuong in late afternoon.Overnight in Sapa.
In the morning we will drive to visit Muong Khuong – very authentic weekend market in the North West. The market still keeping very original character of weekend market in the mountain area with many difference hill tribes people there on Sunday morning. Then drive from Muong Khuong to Bac Ha on very beautiful road along Chay river, that have not been popular by tourist. Arrive to Bac Ha at noon time, that you still can have a chance to visit the biggest weekend market of hill tribe people in the north of Vietnam. Afternoon you can have a option of taking half day trek to local villages in Bac Ha or free at leisure. Overnight in Bac Ha
In this morning, you will take an off road but very interesting from Bac Ha to Xin Man. You will hardly seeing another traveler on this road but scenery is outstanding. Then drive to Hoang Su Phi, where you will have a chance to admire one of the greatest terrace rice fields in Vietnam. Arrive to Ha Giang in the late afternoon. Upon arrival, enjoy the home stay and in the house on stilt of Tay people in local village.Overnight in Ha Giang.
Today we will drive from Ha Giang to Quan Ba Heaven Gate, where you can stop for the great pictures of impressive twin mountain there. Keep to Yen Minh with spectacular scenery along the way then driving to Pho Bang, the charming town of Vietnamese and Chinese people located right on the border between Vietnam and China. The town still remains the great character with very hospitable people. After lunch in Pho Bang, visit the impressive house of Mong King before driving to Dong Van, where we will see our most unique stone plateau. Afternoon you can take a walk to the old street of Dong Van, where you still can find hundred year old house made from clay that hospitable local people still living there. It could be one of memorable moment on this trip. Overnight in Dong Van
On this day, we can visit Dong Van Market before driving to Meo Vac known as the cradle of the Blue H’mong & Lo Lo, who are mainly living on the hill-sides and working on terraces. One of the highlight for the trip today is great drive to conquer Ma Pi Leng, the breathtaking pass with great scenery can be viewed from the top of the pass. After visit Meo Vac, we will leave to Ha Giang along the beautiful plateau with great rock formation. Upon arrival to Ha Giang, we will have a chance to visit Nong lake. Located about 20 kms from the town, this lake was describes as the beautiful eye of mountain area in Ha Giang. After rafting on the lake for great picture of water and tree on the lake, drive back to Ha Giang for check in your hotel. Overnight in Ha Giang. Overnight in Ha Giang.
Today, we will spend the whole day to drive to Cao Bang. We will get over many valleys, mountains, villages, water-falls…. On the way, we will stop by some places to take a rest & photos. We will probably get to Cao Bang in the late evening. Overnight in Cao Bang.
We will start our trip early today to Ban Gioc waterfall, the most tranquil waterfall in Vietnam via the scenic pass of Ma Phuc. Arrive to Ban Gioc before it will be crowded by the other tourists. After having great time to visit and taking picture at Ban Gioc, transfer to Nguom Ngao Grotto. Take a short trek to Visit Nguom Ngao Grotto, one of the nicest grottoes in the North-East of Vietnam. Then we drive back to Cao Bang. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Cao Bang.
This morning we will drive to visit visit Pac Bo grotto, where Ho Chi Minh returned on February 1941 after 30 years of living abroad in search of a way to liberate the country. The scenery along the way is beautiful with great green rice field and local water wheel everywhere. Return to Cao Bang then drive to Ba Be. The roads are very bumpy and zigzagging, but the spectacular mountainous landscapes with undulating terrace rice field and hill villages make our hardship all worthwhile. Upon arrival, we will experience home stay in house on stilts of Tay people in Ba Be. Overnight in Ba Be. Overnight in Cho Ra.
In the morning, we will enjoy a tranquil boat trip to Ba Be Lake exploring the unspoiled tropical National Park with stop to visit Puong limestone grotto, Dau Dang waterfall. After having lunch in the house of Tay people, drive back to Hanoi. Tour End.
