Cruising along the Mekong Delta to go real deal and learn about the traits of life, tradition, and culture of the locals in the South of Vietnam.

DAY 1: SAIGON – MY THO – BEN TRE – SAI GON

Coconut Candy

08:00 AM: Departing from the Tourism Corporation VieTourist office at 95 – 97 – 99 Tran Hung Dao Street, Cau Ong Lanh Ward, District 1.

10:00 AM: The Coach/ car arrives in Tien Giang province. Tourists then get the chance to sit on special means of transportation that the locals used on the Tien River.

On our way reaching to the Unicorn Island, tourists will have the opportunity to pass through several tidal streams and floating houses along the river bank, while merging the soul into the tranquil atmosphere with countless coconut tree ranges.

The Coconut Candy Workshop is the next stop, and if you have a sweet tooth, this workshop is designated just for you.

Tourists will get the chance to learn how to make coconut candy, one of the most well-known treats in the Mekong Delta. The sweet pairs nicely with ginger tea, giving visitors to this place a delightful experience. Besides coconut candy, wine products are also a popular drink here, which has a superiro flavor.

Tourists will then be taken to a hospitable locals home where you may have some tropical Vietnamese fruits while enjoying performances of “Đờn ca tài tử” which was named an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2013. A visit to a beehive farm where tourists are able to witness how natural and organic honey is made will be the last stop on the islet.

Before eating lunch, tourists will be divided into small groups to sail on a small hand-rowing boat called “đò” or sampan boat to reach the restaurant on another islet while enjoying the tranquil atmosphere.

11:30 AM: It’s time for lunch!

Many savory traditional meals from the South of Vietnam will be on the menu.

We will finish our excursion on the silky river after lunch by returning by boat to My Tho.

02:30 PM:

Vinh Trang Pagoda

The coach/minivan brings us to the Vinh Trang Pagoda on the way back to Ho Chi Minh City, which is recognized as “The first Pagoda in Vietnam with distinctive architectural mixed between Western and Eastern styles.”

EVENING: TOURISTS WILL BE TAKEN BACK TO SAI GON.

CHILD POLICY:

Child under 5 years old: free of charge

Child from 5 years old to 11 years old: 75% of tour price

Child from 12 up: as adults

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellation policy for deposited Tours:

If you cancel your booking, your deposit will not be refunded.
If you are a “no-show” on the morning of the trip, for whatever reason, you will lose your deposit.

Cancellation policy for full charged Tours:

Up to 24 hours before the start of the activity: half refund
Less than 24 hours before the start of the activity or in the event of a no-show: no refund
Flight delayed, food poisoning, getting sick unable to attend tour. Under those circumstances, we agree to reschedule your start date with an additional charge of 50% of the total tour cost.
The refund is done using the same payment method. In the event of credit cards that are charged monthly, the amount shall be credited at the end of the current invoicing period. The exact time of the refund depends on the user’s credit card agreement. The refund by bank transfer shall be done within seven bank working days.
